Andy specialises in the management of complex sporting injuries and is based at our Leeds clinic.
In 2018 Andy left his position as the Head of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation at the Leeds Rhinos, where he was involved from 2009, to take up a position working as a consultant physiotherapist at the Football Association, and has since taken up a similar role working with the England Rugby Men's Senior team, and was part of the medical team at the recent Rugby World Cup in France.
He has a wealth of further experience in private practice and sport and in addition to the above, Andy has previously worked within professional netball, boxing and martial arts.
He graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Bradford with a first class honours degree which followed on from a previous Bachelor of Science degree from Leeds Metropolitan University in Sports Performance Coaching.
Andy has a keen interest in injury prevention and the biomechanics of movement and completed a Masters degree in this area (Sports and Exercise Biomechanics at Leeds Beckett University).
Andy is also qualified to provide joint and muscle injections and holds regular injections clinics at our Leeds base.
Ben is the current lead physiotherapist at GB Taekwondo, looking after their Olympic and Para-Olympic athletes.
Previously, Ben spent time working in rugby league, with the Castleford Tigers and the Leeds Rhinos, before moving to the Huddersfield Giants as their Head of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.
He is the current Head Physiotherapist for Jamaica Rugby League and he was part of the team making history last year when competing in their first ever World Cup!
Ben studied Physiotherapy at Keele University and has added to his studies with a Masters degree in Strength and Conditioning from Leeds Beckett University.
He is a HCPC registered Independent Prescriber, meaning Ben is able to prescribe medicines in addition to being qualified to conduct joint and soft tissue injections in the clinic.
Ben has a big interest in the improvement of performance following injury as well as injury prevention.
Ben is based at our Manchester clinic.
Sarah is the senior physiotherapist at our Leeds clinic.
She graduated with a Master's degree in Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University, following on a previous degree at Leeds Beckett University in Sports Therapy.
Away from the clinic, Sarah works in professional football, at Barnsley FC, currently working with both the Academy & First Team squads, having previously been the Head of Physiotherapy and Rehab at the Leeds Rhinos Academy and First Team Physiotherapist.
Sarah also has experience Super League Netball and was recently part of the Wales medical team at the Rugby League World Cup.
Sarah specialises in the management of youth related sporting injuries.
